Yeah, but that was due to "tape deterioration"! [;)] Gotta love EMI's excuse. [V]

But, yeah, the 2010 Spandau Ballet and Duran Duran remastering efforts were atrocious. Shame that they weren't handed over to Steve Rooke (who did the excellent "Rio" deluxe edition remaster in 2009). Oh well. Maybe next time.

Yeah i noticed that. I'm never sure when to purchase with them as everything goes up and down like a bloody yo-yo. I've had some items in my basket for months. Like the three disc Simple Minds Celebrate! B.E.F.'s special edition of Dark went up £4 one day and back down £4 the next!

I pre-order as soon as an item's listed. With their price guarantee they honour the lowest price charged at any time until released. For example, with the Armoury Show, I got a credit back coz at some point they offered it at £8.25 so they refunded the difference so I paid that amount overall. Hope that helps.

Big Paul Young fan here, too. Loved the look and the sound around the Everything Must Change era. Honestly, one of my favorite songs of the time period.

And Come Back And Stay... what a moody masterpiece that was.

Thanks moni but i can't be bothered even opening an account i will wait till £8 odd again. Hopefully my usual source (HMV) will be back online properly soon - surely it can't be much longer. I think that will kick amazon back up the ass and stop this over-pricing situation!

Sainsburys are by far the cheapest site to buy from now amazons pricing has gone to fuck sadly.

The important thing is the total price including shipping. Amazon typically has very low shipping rates, and also 3rd party sellers who usually sell cheaper than Amazon as such. I can't even remember the last time I bought something from Amazon directly and not via some of their (cheaper) 3rd party sellers.

Yes but they are saying please allow 8 to 14 days for delivery which roughly translates as they don't have it in stock. The last half a dozen or so albums i have bought on Cherry Red have all been delayed and it's getting to be a pain in the arse or maybe i have no patience. I have often wondered if you bought straight from them if you would get it on the release date.
