ABC on Bands Reunited

Just watched this the other day and was moved by how much they seemed to really appreciate their music and fans, esp singer Martin Fry.

With the exception of Haircut 100, most of the bands that I've seen on the show seem to be a little embarrassed and at times pompous towards their 80's output, so it was nice to see them talk fondly of the era. Fry still has a great voice too. Anyone else seen this?

Seen it before, great re-unite! I like the stories each band mebers tells. I also enjoyed the AFOS and The Alarm reunions, too bad about FGTH, that Holly is still a pompus dick-head!

Worst one I saw was New Kids on the Block. Joey McIntyre (arrogant twat) basically made the presenter go through his speel for 10 minutes, while sarcastically nodding his head and making sarcastic comments like "really!? no ones ever tried to do that before" and eventually said no.

from the abc/martin fry web site:

"Recording for the NEW A.B.C. album with the working title "Traffic" is now finished. Martin Fry has been in the studio finalising all the parts before mixing will start.
There are about 13 tracks. It will probably be released mid 2007. Please subscribe to the mailing list if you want to be kept up to date about the new record.

Martin Fry has also worked on a movie starring Hugh Grant called Music And Lyrics."

Loved all the episodes. Which they were re-aired more frequently. Thought that Extreme were a joke. Really enjoyed the Berlin one. Well....maybe really enjoyed looking at Teri Nunn more than the rest of the band. Romeo Void was a good on as well.
