Disappointing many are saying!

[Sensoria]

I'll buy the set just for DVD. It's much more definitive than the "Video Collection 1984/1990" VHS from 1990 that omitted the "Run From Love" video which was a cardinal error.
The DVD certainly is not a perfect video collection itself either, as it don't include a few other as key videos, but taking that Edsel had just album singles videos in mind, I'm satisfied with it.
I've been waiting for years to get the Bronski Beat/The Communards/Jimmy Somerville videos oficially on DVD!
The 1986's "Truthdare Doubledare" album recorded by a different line-up should be released as a CD/DVD deluxe set that would include the "Hit That Perfect Beat" and "C'mon! C'mon!" videos.

The DVD looks ok. What videos are missing. The only one I can see from the London years is By Your Side, if there was an actual video for that?

[Sensoria]

A replier on the SuperDeluxeEdition site pointed that 6 major videos were missing. So... :

- "The Last Infanta" with UNO released by Barclay (now owned by UMG)
- "From This Moment On" on the "Red, Hot & Blue" Compilation released by Chrysalis (now owned by WMG)
- "Dark Sky" from the album "Manage the Damage" released by GUT Records
- "Something to Live for" from the album "Manage the Damage" released by GUT Records
- "Lay Down" from the album "Manage the Damage" released by GUT Records
- "Here I Am" from the album "Manage the Damage" released by GUT Records

[humanracer]

Well you don't have to be Sherlock Holmes to work this one out. Most of those videos are owned by Gut records and from the album "manage the damage". I wouldn't say those are major videos since the album was a flop. The rest are rare songs from compilations.

[Sensoria]

Yeah, I do get what you are saying. But still, there are some people who want those videos to be a part of the collection as well. To make it complete in all that sense, you know.
