Would I be right in guessing that both versions of 'ABBinA' were created during the Sparkle sessions even though DYFAM wasn't and that's why they are here?

They were the b sides to Up On The Catwalk and repeated on Don't You Forget About Me which explains why the single for Up On The Catwalk was omitted from the themes box set.

D'oh! Of course...

All the single edits are on Celebrate: The Greatest Hits anyway, so they're kind of pointless for this. Themes covers the extended mixes and B-sides. The Radio One sessions could probably be tagged on the end of Disc 1, and keep the live album on Disc 2.

there will be 2cd versions of 3 more albums after this.

Which albums? More info PLEEEAAASE!!! :)

I'd hazard a guess at a chronological release setup, so probably Once Upon a Time, Street Fighting Years and Real Life. Although personally I'd prefer if they went backwards and did New Gold Dream and Sons and Fascination/Sister Feeling's Call. Maybe then Empires and Dance too!

Boxsets of Good News and Neapolis probably wouldn't work, so I'd just like to see 2CD versions of these two released. Put out 2CD editions of the two 1979 albums and we'd have a nice complete reissue set!

if you wait awhile, all those prices go down.

sometimes buying from a different country is cheaper. i use wowhd, which some other people have
recommended.

I always had bad experiences with them with stuff being back ordered or taking forever to arrive. Anyway looking at the prices on there they are more expensive than anywhere else where they are asking £49.99 for the box set.

They had it for US$54 when it was announced. I have ordered 3 things and 1 was backordered which I cancelled.

Other than that, they are cheap if you pre-order it early, or much later after the release.
Also both arrived very quickly to the US.

Only the hardcore people buy stuff on release date, or pre-order, everyone else just waits.

Jim Kerr gave an exclusive interview to the Super Deluxe Edition site in which he reflected on the band's "Sparkle In The Rain" period:

I ordered the boxset and bluray versions.

however, it seems they mispressed the new stereo mix, by putting it in mono.

It seems that the Discogs entry for the Deluxe boxset and the 2-CD version have a wrong timing for the Extended Version of Speed Your Love To Me (2nd disc). It says:

2-6 Speed Your Love To Me (Extended) 4:05 (2-CD Deluxe Edition)
CD2-F Speed Your Love To Me (Extended) 4:05 (Boxset)

But the real time is: 7:29 :D

No, that's not it. The surround mix is fine. They made the new stereo mix into mono, that is the problem.

Also, there are printing issues with the new booklet.
