The Mission UK "Songs For Kith & Kin" Out April 02,2027

[Charlayme]

We’ll soon be hearing news about album releases for 2037...
At least it’s the right millennium—I don’t feel like waiting any longer... This one will be released on April 2, 2027...
So Mission will keep us hanging on for as long as it takes.
After singer Wayne Hussey’s serious health issues, we’re obviously thrilled to have him back—especially alongside Craig Adams and Simon Hinkler. Alex Baum, the drummer, seems to have fit in beautifully with this legendary band.
The drumming is heavy, the guitars instantly recognizable... These champions of an unapologetic goth sound—which they play with a mischievous flair—are offering us a new album.
I’ve read here and there that this marks a return to the sound of their first two albums. I wish people would mention 1990’s *Carved In Sand*… or even 2016’s *Another Fall From Grace*.
The bar is set high—very high.
I really like the new single, and the cover art is particularly well done.

Brace your ears…
