Damn!! I should have gone. It sounds like he was in top form. Plus, it is always great when the audience is so enthusiastic.

I will be hanging with the Moz tonight here in Melbourne! Three hours from now! Wheeeeeeee!

*Edit*
Just got back from the show! Fantastic! The stage was nearly mobbed by the crowd. They were tossing people off the stage left and right! And the opening act? Girl in a Coma? They F'in R-O-C-K-E-D!!! Don't miss Morrisey if you get a chance! He's still got it! And Girl in a Coma? They got it, too!

Awesome show. Here be the set list....

Stop Me If You Think You've Heard This One Before / Tomorrow / Irish Blood, English Heart / Last Of The Famous International Playboys / Sister, I'm A Poet / The Loop / I Just Want To See The Boy Happy / One Day Goodbye Will Be Farewell / Why Don't You Find Out For Yourself? / Jack The Ripper / Stretch Out And Wait / I'm Throwing My Arms Around Paris / All You Need Is Me / Death Of A Disco Dancer / Billy Budd / Last Night I Dreamt That Somebody Loved Me / The World Is Full Of Crashing Bores / Please, Please, Please, Let Me Get What I Want / How Soon Is Now? // First Of The Gang To Die

Total number of times Moz de-shirted himself and tossed them into the audience: 2
Total number of times I thought "Man! He is pretty thick in the Torso area these days!": Once before the shirts came off, and twice when the shirts came off.
Number of fan-delivered James Dean neckties which Moz stuffed down his pants and wore as a loin cloth for the rest of the show: 1
Number of times Moz just gave the microphone to the fans in the front row: At least three.
Number of times he probably regretted giving the mike to audience members: At least three.

I had to look at your profiles Genx before realizing Morrissey wasn't playing Australia.

And the guy sure does like deshirting himself for some odd reason. But I thought he was looking pretty slim. He was fatter a couple of years ago and still didn't shy from on-stage shirt changes. Comfortable in his skin I guess.

Hey! More power to him!
I am a staunch Heterosexual myself, and am 43 years old, and am more or less built like Moz these days. I would be very hard pressed to remove my shirt in front of a large audience. Hell, I am still uncomfortable undressing in front of my lady!

Damn. Glad to hear the show was good. I actually thought he was at the King Center about a month ago and that I missed it. Yesterday I was riding by and saw that on the marquee that the show was last night but couldn't make it. And now I missed it again.

Wish I would have known! I had two extra tickets that I stood outside and tried to GIVE AWAY and no one needed them! So I had four tickets. I would have gladly given you two tickets in the upper tier!

Bummer. It's a rarity that we get a show like that in Melbourne, too.

I couldn't believe it myself. We do have Tori Amos on the 17th! Need tickets?
I was actually surprised by the turn-out! I would not have figured there were so many Moz fans here! Where do they all hide during the day?
Of course, not all of the crowd was local I suppose.

Never listened to Tori Amos. I'll have to check with my wife & see if she's up for it, as long as I'm not on-call that weekend too.

<p align="justify">The crowd at the Hollywood Palladium was half Latin American (or Chicano) and half everyone else (retro crowd and old folks)[}:)] Moz introduced himself as "Alejandro Sanz" - half the crowd cheered[:D]
