Last night I saw The (English) Beat, which here in southern California is usually Dave Wakeling and his backing band (always a great show nonetheless).
This time, he was joined by Lynval Golding of The Specials!!!
I don't know if Golding at guitar is a regular deal, but it did give a great excuse for a few Specials tunes in the set.

Saw them play in Chicago yesterday. Outstanding show. Both Dave and Lynval are great showmen. It's obvious they're having a blast playing together.
They're going to be out on the road this fall as well. Catch them if you can!
