Wow, I might be able to make the Bowery on Friday the 30th. What ya think? I avoid the Eve like the plague. Is this a good MikeP event?

It's a Friday...I can make it...Bowery Ballroom is going to be a great room for her...be like srepping back to 1978...

Doors at 8PM
per the Bowery Ballroom web site, tickets = $40

ok, I got 4 tickets for Friday night...

Unfortunately, my availability will be limited to a daytime or an early evening social.
My work sked is set already (10pm - 6am Mon-Fri)
The Patti Smith Gig sounds like a blast.
To those of you who are going, have a great time!
I'm still hoping some of you might be up for a luncheon or 5 pm cocktail hour get together (preferably on LI).

This is looking like the real deal. I'm in! Can we get a head count? Any other takers? Should be start another thread that's a bit less stealthy?

And Rich, I imagine people would want to get together for cocktail/dinner just we can hear ourselves talk - that ain't happening once the concert starts. I just don't know about going out to LI then back down to Delancy St! Ouch. But you should be able to make it into the city then back out to LI by 10 tho right?

I have to decline.
But please lets try to get together on Long Island one of these days. I would love to meet all of you, and Waukena owes me a drink or two....
