I tried to ask for a top 10 of best concerts and failed myself. SO many good bands were around, and probably still are.

But WHAT CONCERT is definetely, painfully missing on your list ?

I never saw the Sex Pistols and/or PIL *shame*.
Also missed out seeing The Stranglers, Blondie, Television. Only last year I missed the chance seeing Tom Verlaine and his almost original line-up. All in all not too bad, unless somebody explains me what I SHOULD have seen and wasn't even aware of !! Tipping bands is a good thing, so please, do so.

I missed most of the NW bands because I grew up in small town Alabama. Damn it!

Must be terrible, StormyPetrel.

Two more bands I missed seeing were Can (Czukay, Liebezeit, Schmidt, and whom am I missing here ?) and Holger Hiller.

Apart from the obvious 'rock-bands' in history I would have like to have seen (wouldnt we all! - Beatles, Doors, Hendrix.etc.)....

If I coulda ---

-ABC: "Lexicon Of Love Tour" with full symphonic accomp. 1982 (my wife saw this show)
-Bowie: circa "Station to Station"
-Rational Youth: "cold war nightlife tour"
-Kraftwerk: circa "Man Machine"
-Joy Division: any
Spandau Ballet: "Diamond" Era
-MInistry: circa 'With Sympathy"
-Blancmange "Happy Familes" Tour
-Depeche Mode: circa "Speak & Spell"
-OMD: circa "Architecture + Morality"

I've seen pretty much everyone I have wanted to, but alot were sadly long after thier prime:

Blondie 1982
Ramones 1993 (?)
Sex Pistols 1996
A Flock Of Seagulls 1993

are the ones that come to mind first. However, at the same Blondie show in 1982 a little-known band was warming up. They were called Duran Duran.

Pink Floyd - The Wall (parents would not let me go)

Led Zeppelin - In Through the Out Door tour -- I was a senior in high school and I had tickets lined up, and then John Bonham died. http://www.led-zeppelin.com/johnbonham/
