On a mailing list the following was posted concerning Sakamoto's concert in London 2 days ago (Pet Shop Boys were in attendance at the concert):
"Paul got to talk to the Pet Shop Boys who said they are trying to sort out working with Sakamoto. Paul: "But don't you think all Sakamoto has done is to plagiarise Ravel, Debussy and Satie?" Neil Tennant: "Yes, but what great work to plagiarise"."
