I dunno. Classical music after about 1750 kinda went downhill like popular music did after about 1983. Give me the baroque stuff anyday:
1. Arcangelo Correlli Concerti Grossi Op. 6, particularly no. 7, the "Christmas" concerto.
2. Handel - Concerti Grossi Op. 6
3. Bach - So many good ones to choose from, but I'll pick Sonatas for Violin and Harpsichord, - sound great with a piano, too. I mostly like the slow movements.
OK, some post-baroque faves:
4. Mozart - Sinfonia Concertante in E flat (K. 364)
5. Beethoven - Symphony no. 5 "Pastoral"
Honorable mention: Nicolai Rimski-Korsakov- Sheherazade
