LOL! I *was* thinking of you--you don't post as often as you used to and I miss you!

Awwww shucks! [:I]

I've been busy with school which has cut down on my posting time. I also don't know one thing about Israel or Hezzbhollah, I've never had anyone dare to cut ahead of me at a concert, and Randy's ghost story has traumatized me. And then there's that Manekineko & her visit. I'm still trying to recouperate!

Oh yeah, and I listened to disco in high school & am embarrassed to post the soundtrack of my high school years! [:D]

Randy's ghost story bothered me, too. I decided that I couldn't look at any more ghost-related stuff because then, the ghosts might detect the slightest bit of belief on my part and then they'll start visiting me. So *claps hand over ears and sings loudly* now they won't bother me! I hope.

We're going to have to plan another NWO get together some place where more people can come. Where's the middle of the U.S.? (A cornfield in Kansas? I don't know). It'd still be a huge trip for most of us. Seems like most of us are at the extreme ends (sides?) of the U.S.

Speaking of concerts, I'm so incredibly bummed out because The B-52's are playing here tonight and I have no one to go with me, so I'm not going. I'm not big on crowds, but I'd really love to see them because I've been a huge fan for a long time.

I'm sort of embarrassed about my high school soundtrack, too. I listened to New Wave, of course, but I also loved Guns and Roses. Motley Crue, Ozzy, etc. Anytime I think about high school, the opening strains of "Welcome to the Jungle" come to mind.

Yay! It's 4:56! I think it's time to lock up and go home for the weekend! (See how hard I'm working!) [:D]

We are making plans here on the east coast. I don't know if its a get together...more like a get. I plan on buying a round for some friends. Leave your ghosts at home!
Oh, maybe we will even take some pictures...OOPS!

School has gotten off to a great start, although it's the usual madness...overcrowded classes, the AC doesn't really work, and we're all still adjusting to having to get up early again.
I've got Yearbook class now, which will be SOO much fun, but SOO much work. Back when I was in HS, Yearbook involved a glue stick, scissors, a ruler....pretty cut-and-paste! Now, however, it's all done with computers, and THAT'S a whole new ball game for me. Since I'm not exactly up on comp tech, I have a lot to learn. I just got a copy of Pagemaker with which to practice and teach myself.

However, an old friend just recently mailed me DVDs of Urgh! A Music War, which I haven't seen for like 20 years or so, and 6 hrs. of 1983 MTV, transferred from VHS to DVD...commercials, videos, VJs, and all! It's hilarious ! Seeing that stuff again made me laugh, and I'm enjoying myself thoroughly. Amazing to see MTV when the ONLY thing it did was play MUSIC, and talk about MUSIC. Urgh! is fantastic...I'd forgotten how great it was, the great collection of bands, the energy. So I've been tripping down memory lane with that.
