Lastly, I agree, anyone wearing their pants yanked up to their armpits is a little odd to say the least.

LOL! I just read about this in the news and didn't notice his "style" 'till I saw the video coverage! Yikes!

The prick was e-mailing her in the months before she passed and "apologized". According to him, "she was aware" of him. Why she did'nt say anything is another mystery at this point. Or maybe she did, and it's what led to him being "investigated for several months now". Too little is being said about the investigation at this point because understandably, the authorities want to finish it as completely as they can. Arrests are often made when it's a water tight case but sometimes they're made prior to getting there if the suspect is considered a flight risk.

One article I read (I can't find it now - I've read several) says Karr thought he was emailing Mrs. Ramsey, but the email address went to the police.

It's tempting to take the view with Karr that even if he didn't kill JonBenet he ought to be locked up because he probably did and/or will do something nasty to a child.

I'm in agreement here. That was the 1st thing that popped into my mind too, when I heard that statement. [:(]

<p align="justify">I was watching Extra or some yellow journalist programme like that where they interviewed his neighbours and former employers. Some of them had little to say, but others commented on how weird he was; never saw him with anyone. He also married some 16-year old - holy shit! Granted she looked 18. What parent would let their 16 year old date a 24 year old? (Probably the same kind of parent who'd let guys like ted nugent and steve tyler "adopt" their 13 year old daughters so they can have sex with them[xx(] ). He had three kids, a family, everything... the guy has gone waaaaay off the deep end with the kiddie pr0n[xx(][xx(]

For some reason the way he's being paraded around reminds me of Lee Harvey Oswald. Half expect to see a Jack Ruby type figure plug him.

^ Totally ^

He also married a thirteen year old. The marriage was annuled after she "feared for her life".

Is it just me or does he have the kind of neck you just want to wrap your hands around and crush?

I predict that somewhere along the line, he'll be 'outed' as a repressed homosexual...which is why he's had to be so controlling over young women and girls...it's a guilt thing...

His mannerisms and some of his high school photos scream 'gay' to me, but I could be wrong.

Did anyone else notice this or am I nuts?

His mannerisms & apperance scream "utter fucking freak" to me.

Supposedly he was looking for a sex-change, if you can believe the news. That doesn't necessarily make him gay.
I also suspect the pattern of abuse would be towards boys rather than girls if he were gay. Repression would manifest itself as abuse towards someone who necessarily couldn't threaten him, or out him. That in itself sounds like a big cop-out to me & something created by defense attorneys to gain sympathy whenever it's used.

Gay/straight usually refers to adult relationships - pedophillia is something different, even if it is with member of the same sex.

Pedophiles are the absolute bottom of the food chain. They seek out children because that's what they want. It's not about repression - it's about sickness - and it's not something that can be fixed.

Sure it can be fixed...at the end of a rope.

I know what you mean & that woudl be one way of dealing with it. What I was trying to say is that there's no therapy, no amount of counseling or drugs will change that behavior. People need to remember that. I get very angry when people accused of such crimes get off with short sentences, are put into court mandated programs & given their freedom after "serving their time."

I suppose I go off on this too much, but because of the work I do, it's very important to me to keep reminding people that there is no rehabilitation for child molesters & they will not miraculously change. People at the community level have to remember this, beleive it, advocate for stiffer sentences & never forget that there is no excuse for this behavior.

I'm not talking about anyone here, obviously.
