I just bought a cheap 2 dollar camera and it takes great pictures!
It is so easy!I have a new hobby I think. You can't take a bad shot. I might go pro! What about you?

I'm just guessing here: it's not a digital camera, right?

Oh yes I love my new digital camera myself, I am making a little sci-fi film with it! It is bloody complicated for stills though, it's like a little computer!I got loads of cameras but this is my first digital one (yeah it was relatively expensive but cheap for what you get)and it's great fun.I'm hoping to go to film school later this year so it's all good practice! I also love drawing,painting, designing, singing, acting writing, anything creative, it keeps me off the streets you know?![;)]

I have a room full of them. I love synth music, and I can be found sneaking into the electronic music studio on campus at random times.

12 years of piano...and I own a series of old skool boards.

It swicked...my obsession with new wave came from my obsession with synths. Hardware and Software...they just rock.

Playing guitar. I've pretty much given up golf because all I want to do now is practice and I don't miss it at all. Any hobby that lowers my exposure to idiots is a great thing.

Punk Girl, you really should check out the Smashing Pumpkins video for "Thirty-Three". It was all shot with bulk roll still film, frame-by-frame, scanned, and patched together into the video. This gives it a great jittery, disconnected feel. I bet you'd like it.

I Recently bought my sons (5 & 7) new skateboards. While I was at it I bought my self one [:D]. I'm 39 and hadn't skated in 25 years. We only skated on flat ground, some downhill (slalom) and quarter pipes back then, so I was very intimidated by the current landscape of skateboarding which now includes complex street maneuvers and vertical. It's probably 1000x more complex than it used to be. The tricks kids are doing are amazing.

Anyway I started out just to encourage my sons, but I'm really started to like it. I've all ready gone through my first set of wheels!. My goal is to stay one step ahead of my kids to give them that goal of beating dad. I'm coming pretty close to the skill level I had when I was 14. I'm able to do 180 front side and backside turns off quarter pipes again. I need to learn the "Ollie" and 50/50 grinds now since they are the basis for many of the street tricks.

The most rewarding aspect is spending time with the boys doing something we all enjoy. They want to got to the skate park every single day. Last week we logged 8 hours at the skate park! I know this will only last a few years, then they won't want dad around, so I savor every moment of it.

How cool! Hopefully you will still be able to type with a broken arm!!Hopefully that doesn't happen! My boys went through a skateboarding phase, scared me to death, I would always make them wear helmets, pads, etc. When I skated back in the day, grab your board and go, no worries.
I crossed off 4 wheeling as a family hobby this past weekend while in Mexico, my 14 year old went flying over the handlebars, helmet flying, shoe flying, bike running him over, etc, every parent's nightmare, thankfully, just cuts and scrapes and the wind knocked out of him.

I love playing sports with my kids, soccer is our current phase and probably our biggest hobby right now, having 4 boys is a lot of fun and takes a lot of time. I'm an assistant coach for high school football which is a blast and takes a lot of time and I like to read quite a bit. Mostly non-fiction but an occasional novel and we are real movie buffs in the sense we go usually once a week.

Writing and reading, of course!!!

I like poetry a lot... write my own stuff too.

Also like acting, though ever since I've left school I've not had the chance to act on anything so maybe I should start taking lessons. I'd like to do comedy or sth like that.. though something tells me that I could do well in tragic stuff.

And swimming but it's not the time of the year here to swim. So, I just take long showers in replacement to get that beautiful feeling of water running through my body.
