Is it 4-20 or something?

Postby Frayo » Sun Jul 23, 2006 11:50 pm

This is weird. I just saw two on foot police officers walk across my office window. Then I had to run to the employment administration building to take my latest batch of paperwork there.

On the way there I saw 5 police cars. 4 of them were in a row...one after the other. Whern I emerged from the building...3 more local copscame out. There were local, state, and campus police everywhere...
This is something....that I ONLY see on days like 4-20...because this is a college town in the middle of the mountains. We make the cover of High Times Magazine because this is one of the biggest weed areas in the SouthEast.

Me personally, I dont like the green. I got sick of it.

In essence...is this come kind of 4-20 equal that Im not familar with or something?

Well, I cant do my job and class whilest stoned. I guess what I was tired of really was- being slow-thinking in the office and class. I cant let the Flow O Finance be disrupted by anything.

I do enjoy the saliva, and lady DXM.

Maybe someone said bong and they thought they said bomb.

When the Governor announced that he was going to do something about crowding in CA prisons I thought maybe he would let out the potheads. Just a dream just a dream.

What is the benefit of keeping pot illegal?

Is there anyplace pot is legal on the whole planet?

Holland...>Central America...Its not legal technically, but you can do it without worrying about it. Basically in a lot of places you can do it....just not in the streets.

The Netherlands has a policy that is basically de facto decriminalization. They make a distinction between "hard" and "soft" drugs, choosing to go after the former b/c of its collorary issues of trafficking, crime, and societal issues; the latter is considered an issue of public health and what they term "self-determination of the body". In essence, they recognize that pot does not generally cause problems that negatively affect society. Officially, it's all illegal there; statutes exist to satisfy the UN, but yes, the police look the other way wrt pot.

There are some "decriminalization zones" in Denmark, mostly in hippie communes around Copenhagen. Germany, Switzerland, and Belgium are very interested in the Dutch model and are experimenting with similar policies.

What I'm hearing is no there is no place you can go and smoke a harmless weed legally and that is so WRONG it boggles my mind. If a law is so disregarded that it's not enforced, than why keep it? What's the benefit to whom? Sometimes the hypocrisy of everything just overwhelms me.

I was reading something about the president withholding aid to countries that would not agree to exempt American soldiers from some humane convention or another. That was bad enough but what really got me was the amount of aid these countries were getting. I could, from my own assets double American foreign aid to Mali, all three hundred thousand dollars of it, what a joke. I need more smoke
