I have a thermometer in my yard and it reads 110! At 3 oclock. It feels it too.

Thank God yes! It was real bad today. Tomorrow will be the same. Oh, did I say the humidity is at 100%? It is.

It not that "Arizona" heat that you hear about. Like Philly said, the humidity is killer.

I COMPLETELY AGREE.

....I know we've joked about this before, but there is a HUGE difference between that kind of heat in humidity and our "dry heat". I know some of you guys scoff at that, but if you're gonna have crazy heat, dry heat is better. That's my story and I'm sticking to it.[;)](winkie)

Ha! You know I'm one of those scoffers! [:D]
But unfortunatly, with this humidy - we're the ones sticking to anything. I feel like a planet with my own gravitational pull today.

Thank God for Central A/C - it has been the best thing I ever bought IN MY LIFE! I hate the heat...really, really, really hate it.

I think it was 100 here today - that's really unusual for this area.

God I'd hate that, I'm glad it has started to rain here and cooled down a bit, I don't mind hot weather but when it gets to the point of feeling like being in a portable sauna and you feel like your walking on wet sponges instead of shoes it's not nice, I was out in short sleeved shirt today while other peopel had their coats on, I'm makign the most of the weather and I usually hate the rain!(I also hate the cold zero degrees in winter, I'm a very fussy person, perhaps a desert would suit me, hot in the day but cold at night perhaps I should have been a lizard or something!)[:I]

And it's going up to 103° tomorrow. Intolerable. As of today, I'm no longer doing any more yard work. I just walked up to one of my neighbors' landscapers and made a deal right there on the street to have him come every week and take care of everything for me. I took my son to the movies for some nice AC and saw The Pirates of the Carribean this afternoon. My next home project was to renovate the kitchen but with this heat, I"ve changed my mind. I'm getting central air conditioning. I'll be glad to get rid of all those window units, finally.

Get the Central Air Marv.

Ignore Marie - she's clearly suffering from heat stroke.
