No, not the New Order album. The TV show.

Has anyone else been watching this on Showtime? It's about two brothers, one a politician and the other a gangster. It was inspired by South Boston's infamous Bulger brothers. What a great show - I look forward to the new episodes like I used to with The Sopranos before that show started going downhill.

With this show and the season premiere of Weeds (a comedy about a suburban Mom/pot dealer) in 2 weeks, Showtime is well worth getting if you don't already have it.

Saw the first episode when channel 12 aired it 2 weeks ago and liked it but I dont get showtime. Pretty cool that they actually shot the thing here in RI.

I shitcanned Showtime a couple years ago when it became obvious Bob Greenblatt was hellbent on destroying the channel. (To his credit, he was finally forced to pull the plug on his junk pet project, "Huff.") With that said, I grew up in Southie, so I did check out a couple episodes via ways I'm sure Viacom wouldn't appreciate. It's an alright show. But you're on your own with "Weeds." [:D]

Yeah, I've spent some time in Providence and recognize a few of the locations. Especially The Green Bar. Have you ever been there?

Yup! Also watched the 3 shows that have been set there ("The Cavanaughs," "Costello" and "It's All Relative") and the first two episodes of NBC's "Amazing Race" ripoff, "Treasure Hunters." It's not set there, but it does have some Southie brothers on it. They're firemen. Shocking, I know.

No idea why "Brotherhood" is set in RI. It's like, who are they trying to fool?
