He led a troubled life!
The entire "Forever Changes" album is a masterpiece. The other 60s recordings are excellent as well ("My Little Red Book").

Yes I got the sad news too. I am curently listening to all of the Love records today in his memory[V][:(] He was a great inovator My favorate tune from him I.E. Love was "Her love comes in colors"

Love - Forever Changes......

For me, the greatest single record ever made. While not my favorite band by far (though I do like many of their other records), this release in particular, Forever Changes, has been my ultimate favorite record since it's late 60s release. I know every song so fully, since at least 10 times a year I listen to it without interruption.

If you have never heard this record, you owe it to yourself to at least once hear it all the way through. It may take a few listens, but if you are like most Love fans of this release, when it sinks in, it never lets go. And for me, like the finest wine, it has simply gotten better and better with age.

Rest in Peace, Arthur Lee. Thank you for music that has been the best I have ever known, period.

Thanks Grunch, that was good enough for me to finally check it out and I'm glad that I did. I've only listened to it twice but I really like most of the songs and don't hate any of them. These guys should have been huge.

Thanks Motors, for the great article link. And for taking the time to give this gem a listen. It just does get better and better. Amazing to me, not many records I can listen to, know the lytics, the exact movements in the songs, know exactly what each song will do, yet still find utter pleasure in listening to every track. I do appreciate your feedback and taking the time to check it out.
