Wow, what a fantastic thread. While we're on the topic, I have 3 versions of Let's Go:

1. An "extract" version, 2m01s in length @ 192kbps
2. The single or album version (not sure which), 4m01s @ 192kbps
3. A version from the Salvation soundtrack, 3m54s @ 128kbps

The problem is that each one appears to have a different tempo/pitch. Can anyone confirm of the correct lengths of these songs?

I'm happy to post them if anyone needs a listen...by I cannot vouch for the quality of the tracks -- the Salvation version seems to drop out in one channel at a few points.

1. This is the Salvation instrumental.
2. This is the one from the Canadian Blue Monday 95 single.
3. This one is the original demo with different lyrics.

From the ultra-rare Japanese 7 inch edit of Blue Monday (sorry for the poor quality!):

While perusing the New Order discography at http://www.niagara.edu/neworder/neworder.dis.1.0.txt, I noticed there's an instrumental version of Sunrise floating around out there.

Of course, knowing New Order and their unusual releases (Lowlife on 5 Polish flexible postcards?), it's possible that the song only appears on a single cassette that was inserted in a box of corn flakes, given to a person who sailed the Pacific Ocean by himself, and that sailor handed it to the lucky owner, who got it by trading 3 coconuts carved with Peter Saville's alphabet color scheme, coconuts which said, "eBay has not been invented yet". Or something.

From the above site:
***** "Sunrise" (Instrumental Rough mix) appears on Discreet Campaigns Cassette (Rorshack Testing ROR 1).

Is there a chance anybody has this? I'd be interested in hearing it, no matter what the quality.

Hi pretzelbag,

I have that mix. I'd be happy to post it for you -- but it'll have to be over the weekend.

A: Joy Division without the whiny "woe is me" baggage. [:D]

Feel free to share the tunes, Lundy. I thought I heard everything New Order had to offer. My curiosity is piqued.

Hutter.... I'd kick your ass right now!!! [:p]
But as siblings we are I have to tolerate your dissing towards Ian. [;)]
