In 1986, Canadian multi-instrumentalist and vocalist Brian Hughes hired session musicians to record Beau Geste's second album Another Night In The City. It was the right move, as this sequel was better than the poorly produced and French-sung debut from 1982. In general, they are considered one of the best Canadian bands playing AOR. The song "Heartbreak City" was co-written with Aldo Nova.
