Stepmothers

Stepmothers

I just discovered that the Stepmothers are out on a cd (from Poshboy) with supposedly all their output, which I think is one album, one ep, and one 45. Does anyone remember them? They were from So. Cal in the early - mid 80s. To me they seemed like the American Generation X. Power pop fans should check them out for sure. The main guys went on to be in the Unforgiven which were kind of like the Alarm.

I've got the 12" EP and the album. I think there was one other single and maybe a comp track. The comp track may just be something recycled from a previous release.

They did a great cover of Lulu's "To Sir, With Love".
