I have that 2017 cd/dvd. To me it doesn't really sound that much of an improvement from the 1986 cd. However I believe there's a massive Spandau boxset in the works which will include all their studio albums as well as memorabilia that will encompass everything 1980-90 according to some Facebook posts. Fingers crossed!

A real journeys to glory remaster. The 40th anniversary was a missed opportunity. I made a custom jtg special edition with the 2000 japanese remaster tracks and the mixes not included on that crappy 2 cd set

Making this stuff from my collections is my hobby. Given that I am compelled to curate stuff like this when I don't even like the last two Spandau albums is proof of my "collector's sickness." The 40 page booklet of liner notes barely fits in the "fat boy" box. I digitized all of it, except for the two demos and Robert Elms recording from the original records, due to the brick walling on the modern remastered CDs. I wanted my set to sound good. The first three tracks [and "True" new mix] were only on the brick walled "Reformation" set. The early videos came from the Japanese "Singles Collection" laserdisc
Image
And it has the edited clips for "Highly Strung" and "Round + Round" which were apparently done to fit all of the clips on one side of a LD. The later videos were on the "Live @ Birmingham NEC" DVD. With a few things from my videotape archive.

Be sure that a certain leech (whatever076) will ask to "listen to this boxset" or send a private message to postpunkmonk to send him a copy.

I had the VHS tape years ago. After the last video (Round and Round) a small TV ad appeared. What a great memory

Yes, the laserdisc also had the 30 second TV ad for the "Singles Collection" album, which had an animated darkroom developing motif, as referenced on the video album and record album's cover.

You're right. And the soundtrack had snippets from TCALSS, True and Round and Round. Great Times :)
