Lloyd Cole "On Pain" out 23/06/2023

I want to start a topic about the next album of "Mister Malcontent", namely Lloyd Cole who will release his new album "On Pain" on June 23rd 2023. This album is his 12th solo album. 4 tracks are written with Blair Cowan and Neil Clark from "Commotions". Chris Merrick Hughes produced the album. We know him well since we met him with Wang Chung 1983, Peter Gabriel, Paul McCartney, Ric Ocasek, Howard Jones 1989, Tori Amos, Paul Young 1997, Moya Brennan ( Clanned) 2003, and Tears For Fears of course (I've mentioned the ones I like very much and I'm forgetting...). We are more used to reading Chris Hughes. I will quote to return to Lloyd Cole, the album of 1995 "Love story" and 1991 "Don't Get Weird On Me Babe" with the beautiful "Margo's Waltz" which I find particularly successful.
