The iPod game....

OK, pull out your iPods (or pull up iTunes on your computer) press random/shuffle and list the first 10 songs that come up, no matter how embarrassing you might feel that it is (hey, there's no such thing as a guilty pleasure....if you like it, don't feel ashamed).

And no cheating!

Here's mine:

THE RUBINOOS-"Hit The Nerve" (the re-recorded version on the new album Twist Pop Sin)

DONNIE IRIS & THE CRUISERS-"Broken Promises" (from the King Cool album)

MATCHBOX-"Buzz Buzz A Diddle It" (from their Platinum Collection CD)

BADFINGER-"My Heart Goes Out" (from the self-titled album on Warner Brothers)

YACHTS-"Now I'm Spoken For" (from their 2nd album Yachts Without Radar)

JAMES REYNE-"Poetry In Motion" (solo track from the former vocalist of Australian Crawl, one of the truly unique vocalists to emerge from the Australian music scene)

THE ADICTS-"Don't Let Go" (one of the great punk bands from the 2nd Wave of the early '80s and still going strong!)

THE ADICTS-"Runaway" (wow! Back to back punk rock!)

ELVIS PRESLEY-"His Latest Flame" (great track from my fave artist of all time!)

THE ICICLE WORKS-"Whisper To A Scream (Birds Fly)" (from their debut, this is the U.S. version without that female spoken bit at the intro, which annoys me!)

C'mon and play!

When I press random/shuffle, nothing happens -- I must not be doing it correctly.
- I'm using iTunes 6.0.5

This is always fun:

Hum - Dreamboat (Demo)
The Knack - Maybe Tonight
Phillip Boa and the Voodooclub - The Girl Who Wants To Die Everyday
The Boomtown Rats - The Beat Of The Night
Angelic Upstarts - Don't Stop
Idlewild - We Always Have To Impress
The Stills - Gender Bombs
The Bloodhound Gang - Uhn Tiss Uhn Tiss Uhn Tiss
Soundgarden - Into The Void (Stealth)
Crime and the City Solution - The Wailing Wall

Not bad, though I could have lived w/o The Bloodhound Gang .

Depeche Mode – Just Can’t Get Enough
Jonny Lang – Rack ‘Em Up
D.I.A. – Passion Play
The Chameleons – Tears (original arrangement)
Bauhaus – Bela Lugosi’s Dead
Madonna – Holiday
Kylie Minogue vs. New Order – Can’t Get Blue Monday out of My Head
Elastica – Never Here
Human Sexual Response – Land of the Glass Pinecones
Depeche Mode – Behind the Wheel (2 DM’s out of 10!)
Voice of the Beehive – I Say Nothing

Oops, that was 11. I use random play a lot when I'm stumped for what to listen to and I'm tired of my playlists.

That's so hack FUMAS. Vivaldi's Concerto for Lute, 2 Violins and Continuo in D so kicks that piece's ass!

Perhaps you can start the Classical Music Smackdown Game next. I can hear the crickets chirping already.
