My Band's in a Motion Picture Soundtrack!

Postby Darvoset » Mon Aug 07, 2006 9:57 pm

Hey friends! Two songs from my band Darvoset were recently added to the soundtrack of the upcoming Suspense/Thriller 'The Mill', which was produced by Ralph S. Singleton, who produced 'Clear and Present Danger, Murder at 1600, Graveyard Shift, Pet Semetary 1 and 2, Juwanna Man, Harlem Nights and other notable movies. We're all pretty excited about it, it's about time something cool happens to us. [8D] You can visit The Mills official site here at the following address: http://www.themillthemovie.com . I'm not sure when the release date is for the movie, we havent been told, but, i'll post it when i get the info.

If you like to hear both of the songs that made the soundtrack, visit our official site's music page at the following link, the songs are 'Media Magnet' and 'The One' : http://www.darvoset.4t.com/music.html

You can also download some of our mp3's off our myspace site from our myspace player. Heres the link: http://www.myspace.com/darvoset

Cool, congratulations!

My old punk band The Subversives was featured in this indy flick.

Here's some raw footage of us from the film. I'm the fat guy playing bass.

I just got a final dvd of the movie about a month ago. There was an earlier cut that was released about a year ago. I watched most of the earlier version and my band was all over the soundtrack. It was really weird seeing our songs set to those visuals.

You'll definately have to keep us informed as to the release of The Mill, maybe its a good excuse for a NWO night on the town!

ahh, yeah, i bet it's surreal to hear your music in film. I cant wait. we were told that one song was gonna be in a sex scene, and another was gonna be in some psych ward scene. So it should be pretty interesting to hear and see. [:)]

Thanks KYYX4ever! We're working on getting on another soundtrack, a production company contacted us and wants to use one of our songs for their indie movie. So we'll how that goes.
