I heard Colorfield were getting back together to record a new CD, inspired by this thread. They're calling it "Virgins & Philipinos".

... and isn't it surprising to everyone why Motors is not bashing this little mosquito for misspelling "THE COLOUR FIELD" [xx(] into "Colorfield" for God knows how many times now?

Sorry, THE COLOURFIELD. I don't "not like" CF. I have V&P for God's sake (and don't get all uppity, I have the Japanese version). I bought it because I am a bit of a completist and I liked The Specials and FB3. What I "hate" is the fact that there is any kind of discussion whatsoever about this mediocre band, when there are hundreds of interesting bands that either contributed something to NW, or are obscure and deserve more attention. CF are neither (ditto WS, FLL), and no sane person could argue otherwise.

As long as no one says another nice thing about T'Colour-Field in this thread, I am done as well.

PS From that pic, Terry seems to have gained a bit of weight?

I think since you all crushed my hopes and dreams of The Colour Field and Terry Hall (Meow)...forward me the CDs. Why have something in your collection eating up valuable space!

BTW: Since everybody: Yahoo, Amazon, ebay,etc, etc all the fans etc, etc, etc spell Colourfield in one word, persisting to write it in two words is tantamount to saying: "I am a dumb dummy!"

Well since you only want the ones that say Colourfield in your VALUABLE collection...

Send me the ones that say Colour Field, we wouldn't want any in your collection that have typos!

All those knowledgeable about the band spell their name Colourfield, a few ignorant dudes call them Colour Field. It's up to you to choose your camp, take note that I'm not assuming anything....[:D][:D]
