Currently listening to Client - "Diary Of An 18 Year Old Boy". Client is one of these Next Wave groups. They remind me alot of Human League and Animotion. Rock on!

Also to the poster who said he'd never met a girl who was a Steely Dan fan. I used to be one. A girl, that is, I'm a bit old to be considered a girl now, but am still a Steely Dan fan.
"Royal Scam" & "Aja" were my favorite albums when I was in high school. I never met any Steely Dan fans until I went to college. I was listening to "Everything Must Go" Cd in my car yesterday.

Wow. I'm surprised. To meet another Steely Dan fan at this university is like waitin for it to snow in La Jolla. But the few ones that I do know of? All dudes. Always figured this is the kind of music geared towards guys as much as action flicks, Benny Hill and The Stooges, power tools, and cars[8D]

Everything Must Go is such a schweeeet[:D] album. "Pixeleen" is one of the best songs not only in that album, but perhaps even of the year. It sounds like an overstatement, but the more I think about it, the better it sounds than most of the junk coming out nowadays.

Right now I'm listening to the oldies music score from Kenneth Anger's Scorpio Rising

I love scorpio rising!..I built my very own image right out of that movie, That and "The Loveless" with Willam Dafoe.. SO COOL!!!

Funny thing xxx is that both these movies have Motorcycles, Cars, power tools and men in leather but not much action.

Welp, to Kenneth Anger and his buddies, the guys in leather were the action[:D] That's another thing; that subliminal male-erotica. The only gal I've known to know of and LIKE Kenneth Anger's films (and who introduced me to them) was a lesbian[:0]

[:D]

Right now listenin to Jefferson Airplane in my mind...

Don't you want somebody to love... you need somebody to love... you better find somebody to loooooove!

It'd be awesome to have a karaoke bash[8D]

No, but you're right that the rest of the stuff is geared to guys. I heard Steely Dan's "Caves of Altamira" back when I was in 6th grade. I had just read a story on the discovery at Altamira and also had just decided to devote my life to becoming an artist. So that song really spoke to me. I'm a life-long fan.

Right now I'm listening to Japan's "Methods of Dance."

I am listening to mlb.com. The Chicago White Sox are beating the pants off the Chicago Cubbies. I am a fan of both and I know that I can be because there is no law against it (yet)!
