edisonide, that Clock DVA-Advantage, man that is hard to come by, and at the top of my list these days. If you are a fellow hubster, can you get it on the hub when back up, or otherwise can we do some swap, I would love a copy of that in a major way.

I have Clock DVA's 'Thirst' on vinyl but have never seen a copy of 'Advantage' either...don't know if it's "rare/valuable" or just "rare/no-one is interested but us" (I have hundereds of records in the latter category).

I got a copy of the Neon Judgement's 'Horny as Hell', as well as their 'General Pain and Major Disease' (these guys don't get mentioned much). "Chinese Black" is one of my favorite songs by them.

Here's my most recent Amoeba haul -- someone in the bay area is clearly liquidating their Stephen Duffy collection...

12 - Stephen Duffy, as Stephen 'Tin Tin' Duffy: She Makes Me Quiver (version/7") / Push It
12 - Stephen Duffy, as Stephen Tintin Duffy: Icing On The Cake (7:40/3:50) / Broken Home [ltd gf + poster]
12 - Stephen Duffy: I Love You (inversion/7) / Love Is Driving Me Insane
12 - Stephen Duffy: Extended Play: I Love You (diversion) / Wednesday Jones (dixie) / Icing On The Cake / Kiss Me (1983 version)
LP - Stephen Duffy: Because We Love You
12 - Falco: Maschine Brennt / Ganz Wien
12 - Level 42: The Chinese Way (u.k. mix) / 88 (live may 1982)
12 - Yello: Lost Again (extended dance version)) / I Love You (extended dance version) / Bostich (n'est-ce pas)
12 - Yello: Base for Alec [reissue]

Also (off topic) finally found the Boys Don't Cry album on CD...what's that been, like eighteen years now?

[:)][:)][:)]

and where is a most strange places where you finding your best obscures and sometimes ultra rare records in Punk , new wawe , power pop , synth pop or arty and goth rock

for me generally is in records bins of records dealers where the records cost beetween 2 or 3 euros or less i'snt a problem and where the normals customers dont have the patience for searching records

sometimes in the dépots ventes the french equivalent of the us thrift stores

sometimes in brocantes and the vides greniers the french equivalent of the us words fleas market or garage sales

of course in seconds hands records shops but it's sometimes too expensive for me [;)] no i'm joking but's it's great source of discoveries

in fact i find my better discoveries is generally in this kind of situations or shops and places

and off course i'ts depending of too essentially criters

100 percent of chance

100 percent of patience for searching records in dusty records bins

bye
