This is great. I swear, I should make a multi disc CD box set of all our songs complete with a collector's leather bound book containing all the posts of this thread. LOL, this really is GREAT! Keep 'em coming [;)]

Yah...back in the day when I was younger and had a non-existant knowledge of new wave... I trolled here and posted some.

I extracted LOADS of songs and albums listed and put them into a huge database.

Really awesome. The board grew too large...and I couldnt keep up with it. But I do have quite a list.

Real To Real - I like to Move It

I like to move it move it
I like to move it move it
I like to move it move it
You like to....MOVE IT!

I saw madagascar in the past few days.
I really liked the movie.
The penguins were crazy awesome.
No spoilers-
But yeah- Its groovy. Pretty silly and for little kids...but its a fun movie. I LIKED IT...
And the lemurs doing that song--

I like to move it move it
I like to move it move it
I like to move it move it
You like to....MOVE IT!

Is awesome.

Plus I am such a sucker for early 90s (this was 1994) techno and loop-based pop...Its not funny.

I am now on my fifth consecutive listen of Blanket of Secrecy's Say You Will. I can't help it. It is hitting a specific pleasure spot in my brain. One more listen, and then I'll stop. I promise (well, maybe not...) Maybe I need a twelve step program... (Hello, I'm Paula, and I'm a Say You Will-a-holic.)

Just starting number 6.

Edit: Just finished number 8. Must stop.

Now listening to Lou Reed - New Sensations (thanks, Schwenko!), title track from Lou's very new wave sounding 1985 album. [8D]

Ooooh - a Klaatu fan! I love their stuff - especially the haunting "Little Neutrino". Dig it!

I think he's referring to the devil. One of the best songs (and bands) to come out of the whole Mancunian rock scene of the late eighties / early nineties. This track REALLY stands the tests of time. Pity they never lasted.[V]

Yep, and in my humble opinion, that's not even their best song. My personal favorite is the extended version of "Fool's Gold" - most excellent.

Kick starting off the morning with Diana Ross - Upside Down...

moving on to some typical late 1980s pop/noize.
Then reverting back to a mesh between high speed new wave and old skool italo.

Downloading video games all day-
Its gonna rock.
