I like marv's stuff, but Patrick's just seem's more new wavy. I'd buy a t-shirt with either.

I LOVE the aniversary logo. It is very "New Wave".
Patrick did a great job.

What's the possibility of both? An understated and more outlandish logo? Both on the same T might be odd.

I agree with Blir . Both logos on the same tee would be odd if that was the intention .It might not be a bad idea to include a .com on the tee just to get the word out about this cool site [8D]

Just to add...I'd love one that I'd wear more frequently, like the original understated one. Something that might make people ask "what's that all about?" I like that neo-retro look. But I'd also readily buy the new one too as a memento. I'm not as crazy about such strict retro like what you see on 80s comp covers and what not. Adding the ".com" could then make it even more overt. I like more of the "wink" approach than in-your-face. Just IMHO...hope not to offend.

I see what your saying Blir about the ".com " thing . About a tee you can actually wear frequently ,I think a tee that covers the whole shirt would look a little on the juvenile side .Maybe the logo just on the upper left side . Just a thought .

atriedesny's design is very eye-catching & I like it as a logo. When I think of what I would wear as logo on a shirt though - I'd go with Marv's design.

I do like the ransom note lettering in atriedesny's design. Might be cool to see "New Wave Outpost" and whatever signature is added to it in that lettering - maybe a white font on black? I know, too many cooks, too many suggestions.

It sounds like you want something to wear with your Brooks Brothers suit. I say the gaudier the better.

Just one minor suggested tweak on atriedesny's superb graphic, in the absence of any mentioned anniversary, the 1996 - 2006 reads as a coda rather as a continuance. Perhaps, 'est. 1996' would read better.

I definitely can see MM's logo being ideally suited as a knit or sweat shirt embroidered emblem along the lines of the IZOD or Polo logos. Yeah, call me a prep.. [^]

I think this and Marv's logo would both look great on a tee.

I'll take two of each, XL.

My plan is to stick with Marv's logo as the new official logo, but I'd still like to offer a special version of Patrick's logo on a tee for the anniversary. I see your point 2Nu, but seeing as this will be a special anniversary edition, we'll just need to add a mention of the 10th Anniversary. I'd like the version with Marv's logo to be clean without any reference to the anniversary but perhaps with the "est. 1996" underneath in small text. I'll likely select a couple of the slogans for some variety and I still like the possibility of our top song list (or a portion of it) in wrapping text on the back of a tee. Either way, I'm looking at a selection of t-shirts, sweatshirts, mugs and -- you got it -- iPod sleeves (maybe bumper stickers as well).

Yeah, me too. I prefer Patrick's design on a t-shirt, but I would also want Marv's design for my bro maybe. [:D]

I have to mention that we should also use nothing but the best quality for the t-shirts (i.e. Hanes, BVD, Fruit of the Loom)... and have the designs bleached into the shirt for lasting effects. [8D]
