*The Young Gods - XXYEARS 1985 - 2005. Limited edition double cd.

*Kraftwerk - NOTEBOOK. Limited edition box set. expensive and I already have Minimum/Maximum but I really wanted the booklet that came along with it..I'm a sucker for all things Kraftwerk.

Kraftwerk - Tour de Trance

Know what, one day I found Tour de France in a second hand CD store, well I didn't like it that much so I swapped it against DM Personal Jesus. Few days later, the guy who exchanged it for a friend wanted his DM back but since the CD was not defective, actually it was mint, I refused eheheh

The last cd I bought happened to also be new wave...Cherry Vanilla's Bad Girl/Venus D'Vinyl. I got it off her website for a cool $9. She even autographed it. I loved Venus D'Vinyl, it's taken a while but Bad Girl has really grown on me.

[br]Many dudes are into MP3 but I guess this doesn't prevent them from buying also some CD's. It could be interesting to compare what we bought lately.
For us in Manila, we can't buy what we want but what is available and we usually grab the new arrivals before they disappear for good. So this is what I bought this week:
The Go-Betweens:
Tallulah
16 Lovers Lane
Send Me A Lullaby
Before Hollywood
Spring Hill Fair
Oceans Apart
Liberty Belle And The Black Diamond Express

The Psychedelic Furs: Beautiful Chaos
Strawberry Switchblade:The Platinum Collection
B.Movie: The Platinum Collection
The Strokes: First Impressions Of Earth

Just arrived yesterday- the self titled 1980 classic "Blue Angel" featuring Cyndi Lauper. Hip O Select says it's an unnumbered limited edition.

I bought Playing the Angel the day it came out. I had already heard the whole thing because of the internet but I didnt want to break the tradition of getting the new DM album on its release date. After that I bought Frankie Goes to Hollywood Welcome to the Pleasuredome...about 22 years after its release date!

I have nothing against the band but the statement "new wave superstar Cyndi Lauper" is funny![:D]
