DEVO: Their first 5 albums in a row are ALL masterpieces and incredibly essential late 70s-early 80's music: Are We Not Men?, Duty Now for the Future, Freedom of Choice, New Traditionalists, Oh No, It's Devo!

Oingo Boingo: Only A Lad, Nothing To Fear, Good For Your Soul

Kraftwerk: Trans-Europe Express, Man-Machine, Computer World

Talking Heads: Fear of Music, Remain In Light, Speaking In Tongues

Peter Gabriel: Melt, Security, So

Tears for Fears: The Hurting, Songs From the Big Chair, The Seeds of Love (I know a lot of people hate the later albums around here. To me, they show true evolution, an expansion of the groups' sound--and that they pulled it off successfully shows, in my opinion, their superiority over clowns like China Crisis and Naked Eyes.)
Echo & the Bunnymen: Porcupines, Ocean Rain, and *shudder* the Gray Album (I can't in good conscience give Heaven Up Here a good rating. Listening to it always makes me sleepy.)
Wire: Pink Flag, Chairs Missing, 154 (Pure genius.)
Talking Heads: More Songs About Buildings And Food, Fear of Music, Remain in Light (almost perfect, except for shitty bass work)
