I love alot of different artists, although new wave is my first love.

Tori Amos, Radiohead, Bowie, Beatles, Lucinda Williams, Neil Young - those are a few of my non-new wave faves....

Other-than-NW Music: the folk-rock band Steeleye Span.

Other media: Sci-fi, especially Doctor Who. Also, everything that Gerry Anderson did (Supercar, Stingray, Thunderbirds, Captain Scarlet, UFO, Space 1999, Journey to the Far Side of the Sun). Hitchhikers Guide to the Galaxy TV mini-series and radio series.

I just aquired the enire "Tiger Lillies" discography....just about the strangest stuff you'll ever come across....it's kinda like "Sweeney Todd" the demon barber of Fleet Street got access to a modern recording studio and cut loose.

The lead singer sounds like he caught his balls in a vice and couldn't get them out....somewhere in the background someone is playing a saw and accordians float in and out of the mix....."Kronos Quartet" occasionally play with them.

I really like them....and oh yeah, Ken Nordine. Word Jazz is some messed up shit. Ken rambles on about the weather and other things while talking to himself. There's a little bit of jazzy instrumentals in the background. Freaky!

Lately electronica, primarily breaks & big beat stuff (Prodigy, Chemical Brothers, The Crystal Method, Stanton Warriors). Every once in a while I get a craving for the old skool hardcore rave stuff from '91-'92 (Altern 8, Danny Breaks, Mickey Finn, SL2 etc.).

Yes, marrying a hot doctor is something extremely useful.
And I've seen doctors in real life as hot as the ones in ER.
