Yeah , I know what you mean Blir. The station I listen to WFNX in Boston lately has been playing more 80's new wave (about one in every 4 songs).Sometimes I request a song I already have just to hear it on the radio. I even sent one of the dj's some obscure 80's tunes (that I found here) hoping they will play them also. Yeah , there sure is something great about hearing it on the radio.

Here in the Quad Cities we've been blessed with 3 Gambling riverboats within 3 or 4 miles of each other. One of the boats plays 80's new wave on Saturday night. You can hear a very odd (canned) mix Wall of voodoo to omd, most is the top hits though.

Most excellent topic Blir! I find myself constantly scanning the dial on my radio just to see if I can get a hit on even one NW song. It drives my husband crazy!! It's totally depressing! But yes, when I do hit upon that obscure one every so often, it makes me happy for the rest of the day (so little to please me! [:D] And GlitteringPrize, I too get 107.1 The Peak in here on LI (unfortunately, I live too far west to get in 'LIR) and they do play some great NW every so often. It's my only saving grace on my ride home from a long day of work...
