I'm with stupid... Sex Pistols vs Donna Summer

Postby popreactor » Mon Jul 24, 2006 9:04 pm

Here a topic dedicated to the things, events or artists that haven't got anything in common and which couldn't be put beside each other, but are popular at around the same time.

Donna Summer gets the edge from me, simply for having her best stuff produced by Giorgio Moroder. Love the Pistols, though.

Can't vote as it defies my musical eclecticism policy.[:D]

I can imagine the Pistols sneering their way through "Macarthur Park" and it being better than Summer's version. Still, I gotta go with Donna.

I didn't except this battle to get so exciting. I also went with Donna. Never liked the Sex Pistols that much.

I am completely and totally with you, Hut. If Donald Rumsfeld read the Trenton Yellow Pages, with Moroder producing, I'd probably go for that too. It's all about the Moroder! Why the hell else would I have sat through Electric Dreams three times???

;)

I guess I must have missed the part of the post that said we were voting on producers rather than artists. [}:)]

In that case, my vote goes to Chris Thomas. [:D]

I was voting on a concept, man. [;)]

Let's leave it at this: they'll make a hell of a double-bill. In Hades.
