KNACK Knews

Postby Spaz » Sat Aug 12, 2006 6:58 pm

I'm a big fan of The Knack, so it shocked me to read this on their website:

All Tour Dates Are Canceled:

LUCK MEDIA & MARKETING, INC.

August 3, 2006

Doug Fieger, lead singer of The Knack, underwent surgery today at Cedars Sinai Medical Center Los Angeles for removal of two brain tumors. According to Dr. John Yu, the surgery was successful and Fieger is expected to have a full recovery.

A Message From Doug

" I am overwhelmed and humbled by the love I've received. My thanks to all who sent their good wishes my way. I love you all."

Doug is very upbeat and positive. Let's all keep Doug in our thoughts and prayers and keep that healing white light all around him!

That's too bad . I hope he does have a full recovery. I can remember years ago reading a music review on the Knack .The review predicted that the Knack will be the next Led Zeppelin .Well , that didn't happen but still a good band.

Umm, they had a grand total of one good song. One of the most annoying bands ever. Just the thought of Doug F's whiney voice is making me nauseous.
