Impossible choice, as it changes daily depending on my mood, but right now:

Orchestral Maneuvers In The Dark: Red Frame White Light.

Kind of a buff of both Enola Gay and Temptation (OMD and New Order).

Currently enjoying:

Seona Dancing - More To Lose; including the 12" Extended Version and Remix!
Spoons - Nova Heart; including the 12" Extended Version [:D]

Next week some other synth tunes, as I re-discover other artists and tunes because of the NWO postings. [:D]

<br>It is strange that no one has said Yazoo.
I think they are incredibly underated, just two albums, never had a hit in the US
yet they have never have been out of print.
I could almost say any song they ever recorded is one of the best Synth Songs
Maybe it's just too much of a given.

Yazoo! Yazoo, Yazoo! (There I said it!) [:)]

Just about every tune on both albums, b-sides to 7" and 12"-ers!

Everything they recorded in their short time together... [:(]

(Edited my typos, ooops!) [:I]

Sorry, I didn't really count that "album" as an "album," since Warner Bros., I think, just released that as a way to catch people up with DM, since they released so many 7- and 12-inchers--as imoprts only--that the U.S. market needed the "People Are People" complilation, as well as the "Catching Up With Depeche Mode" LP, or are they one and the same?? Because I really don't remember a "P-R-People" LP, or I'm just confused because my records are: (1) not handy, (2) I'm being way too lazy to go see, (3)I never bought it when it came out because I have all those 7 and 12 incheers, or (4)... [;)]

Edit Add On to Post: P.S.-- Thanks for the Spoons link, I really like them! [:)]

You are right. It was a compilation like Catching Up With... The track listing was/is
1. People Are People
2. Now This Is Fun
3. Love In Itself
4. Work Hard
5. Told You So
6. Get The Balance Right
7. Leave In Silence
8. Pipeline
9. Everything Counts (extended version)

Even though it was a collection of songs it holds together quite well. It could also be nostalgia as I kind of started listening to them around this time and got it along with Speak and Spell and A Broken Frame at the same time.

P.S. I like the Spoons also and run the website (band endorsed but not an "official" website). They have a DVD coming out on September 12 with 2 shows from the early 80's Talk Back era.
