Metrnomes - Multiple Choice & Nuclear Regulatory Commission - S/T

They were all right I suppose, nothing really special, though I am grateful for the chance of listening to the former.

[8D]Cool. Yeah, I realize some of those songs might be synthesized horns (like the Yaz tracks), but I'll take 'em anyway. Horns (or horn sounds) always get me moving. There are so many more CDs that could be compiled; those are just some my faves that got onto my CDR.

Oh my God, I thought I was the only person who loved Division Of Laura Lee! I love that whole album "Dirty Love" is in. I wonder why they haven't released anything since 2004. Das Not Compute was my favorite album of that year and I wish DOLL would do some new stuff. I only hope they haven't hit dire straits.

Well, here's my compilation of NW/early 80's Spanish bands, there were so many bands and songs to choose from that anyone who knows a bit about the music played here in those years will miss many bands and hits or would have made a different selection. Anyway, here's the track listing (and in case you're interested in listening to the songs, also some youtube links I've found):

091 - El hombre invisible http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=R2rvcWtuqYs
Glutamato ye-yé - Hay un hombre en mi nevera
Radio Futura - Escuela de calor http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=GYuwLyD2qJ4
Golpes Bajos - No mires a los ojos de la gente
Pistones - El pistolero
Mecano - Maquillaje http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=BTx7py5MAlQ
La Unión - Lobo hombre en París (in youtube there's only a bad modern version of the song)
Aviador Dro - Nuclear sí http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=3mYIwUdMcNU
Azul y Negro - No tengo tiempo (con los dedos de una mano) http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=x1bJx6WVfP0
Décima Víctima - Detrás de la mirada (They were similar to Joy Division/New Order) http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=M3FmBC2DHbg
Alaska y Dinarama - Bote de Colón http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=mFMR0uIeStE
Olé Olé - No controles http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=eTvjv9Iok34
Gabinete Caligari - Cuatro rosas http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=eVwlcqFEkIs
Nacha Pop - Vístete http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=RgAz67aSqKs
Decibelios - Ningún nombre de mujer (The Spanish Madness, seems every country had one [8D]) http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=lE1oULbZDZc
Farmacia de Guardia - Ella es demoledora http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=09q_2TJC0a4
Iván - Fotonovela http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=nrivqafkyqY

La Mode - La evolución de las costumbres http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=KWlGlCjulu0
Tino Casal - Embrujada http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=FvXCg7Jr9ec

I'd like to read your comments on this list [:)]
Do any of you know these bands? (I know there are some Aviador Dro fans in the NWO).

The last custom cd-r I made was of 34 versions of "The Girl From Ipanema". I'm not proud of it, but I felt it had to be done.
