What artist(s) do you like? List them all
What artist(s) do you dislike? Again, list them all
What artist(s) have you never heard or don't even know about? Go ahead, list all of them.

If you do like them, break down the attributes of every song in their discography that you see as positive. Do the same for every artist you don't like.

For those artists you have not heard, or don't even know exist, try to list as many reasons possible why. Provide points and even counter-points for your stance on a track by track basis, even though you have never even heard them.

Further break down the list by those that used synths only, guitars only, both, drums only, drums with synth only, drums with guitar only, bass with synth but no other guitar, etc. for any possible instrument combination feasible. This list might further be user-friendly if you categorize the artists and songs by length of songs, BPM, and by lyric contents by subject or message intended in each song.

This thread is worthwhile, only if everyone posts all the pictures they have of the artists as well, the video tracks, the album covers, the single covers, and all articles that mentioned them, of course. Pictures should be posted as Tiff files, and music and excerpts artists have made in wav files. Articles in actual Tiff files also (original photocopies--not in that whimpy PDF, please). Also, please do not cut up your answer in separate posts.
