WTF is going on around here?

*raises hand* Uh, Teacher Dude, could you please explain to me what sarcasm is? I thought I knew what it was, but then some mystical force compelled me to have a total lack of understanding of what the whole concept is. Thanks.

Eight-6,

You? Nasty? Actually I wasn't trying to infer that, so no, I'm not astute, I'm still just a knuckle-dragging drooler! [:D]

Personally, I love you, man. Well, your posts, that is. You are the eloquent, thought-provoking writer that I am not. I've always enjoyed (though not always agreed with) your point of view. There's nothing like a logical, well-reasoned argument to make one pause and think, and you've stopped me in my tracks and shown me a different perspective at least a couple of times.

I'm glad you're back on the board. I may be more of a lurker than an active participant, but nonetheless it seemed a little empty here without you.

OK, now I'm emotionally tapped out. I need to have a beer and watch some football.

Cheers,

zill

I'm pretty sure an apple a day would keep those topics away ... if you catch my drift.

Yeah, I always wonder about that, LOL. I wish they were around long enough to see where and how each and every NWO Parody originates...[8D]

Hey Grunch !
Yes, those topics seem kind of strange and repetitive [:p]

I would think that people with less than 5 stars might have active lives outside of an internet bulletin board.

Grunch was just having some fun with us. It's hard to detect sarcasm on the 'net.

OTOH, there will always be new topics posted that some of us have seen before. Big deal. We seem to have new members all the time. Why should anyone feel like they aren't allowed to talk about this stuff just b/c some of us already have.

I mean, what will we all be like in 40 years: sitting around our futuristic retirement homes hatin' on Sting, debating whether or not Corey Hart was really new wave, and ruminatin' on these kids today who talk about New Wave songs that were really about New Wave.[;)]

His "cd-r you made three cd-r's ago" title cracked me up ! At first his dry humor had me at a loss when he focused on me one time. All is good,Grunch is a great guy who's a bottomless pit of info for us music lovers !
