<br>I think I know the record Grunch referenced in this topic a few days ago. It was "Monster Rap" by Bobby "Boris" Pickett. This was an 80's return by the original Monster Mash creator. It was on Easy Street records.

<br>How about Skeletons by Stinky and The Spuds? There is a rather obscure early 80s gem.

Also, the '45 by Eddie from The Munsters, called "Whatever Happened To Eddie" with the Munsters theme as the music bed to the lyrics.

There was also this fun/cool 12" record, for the life of me I cannot remember the artist, but it was an awesome novelty record, came out maybe 1982-83?? Some reference to Transylvania, with a Dracula kind of voice but quite humorous with some synty/new wave style music. Used to have this 12"/EP but lost it over the years, wish I knew the hell who it was so I could try to buy another one.

Stinky & The Spuds gets my vote, too!

Actually it's funny this came up because I had put together a Halloween playlist a few weeks ago. I didn't limit it to simply New Wave however, just 80's. I'm glad to see that I thought of several that are mentioned here. I think that Halloween songs can't all be in one category i.e. "goth" or "silly" but there should be a little of both and to round it out there's no harm in throwing in Halloween pop songs either. Anyway, tell me what you think.

45 Grave - Party Time
John Fogerty - Eye of the Zombie
Pseudo Echo - His Eyes
Dokken - Dream Warriors
Rockwell - Somebody's Watching Me
Total Coelo - I Eat Cannibals
The Cramps - Surfin Dead
45 Grave - Riboflavin Flavored, Non-Carbonated, Poly-Unsaturated Blood
Warren Zevon - Werewolves of London
Michael Jackson - Thriller
Total Coelo - Dracula's Tango
Autograph - You Can't Hide
SSQ - Tonight (We'll Make Love 'Til We Die)
Pseudo Echo - Don't Go

Yes a few of them are from the "Return of the Living Dead" soundtrack, but honestly you just can't beat that for Halloween music

Also, I think "Pseudo Echo - Don't Go" is a perfect song for a closer.
