Oh crap! Reds! I loved it there!
Do you remember any of the semi goth crowd? I hung out with 2 sisters with real long hair, and we would hike all the way from brooklyn. I also hung with some burn outs from long beach when I went to Malibu.

I had long hair, and always wore m.c. boots and a trench coat.

Reds had such great memories. Do you remember when Steve Jones from WLIR spun for 6 weeks there? He actually had a good playlist going. DK's Too drunk to f***, PIL, Bad Brain's Pay to Cum (I actually cracked my nose slamdancing to that at Reds, Sex Pistols, Clash, Black Flag....all great stuff!
And I met my wife at Reds too. In fact Steve Jones wound up getting married 8 days after we did

I remember Subway too. Stayed open for about 6-7 weeks if I remember right. Pat from the Dead Virgins was one of the DJ's.
I still have Reds bumper stickers, a Spize sticker, a Thrush tee-shirt, a Be-bop pin and some Malibu stuff too

We must have known each other. It was a little clicky but I got along with everyone.

What I remember the most? Getting dressed! We had style, crazy as it was. Not like now. You would put together your best outfit and stuff and go out and have a blast. It was like a show every night. I still have my stuff. My friend that I met in spit came over last week and said "break it out". I took out my box full of old stuff like my old tee shirts, leather wrist bands, buttons and yes...my over coat.

I know what you mean. I still have some stuff. My skull boots are still around but the elf boots...gone. Jackets from the salvation army with many a safety pin....gone. Boy of London pants....gone. Some tee shirts are gone but some still remain (though a little tighter). My Thrush tee shirts, my "painting party" DIY shirts of Kraut and Minor Threat and my Sex Pistols shirts are still around but most are gone. I still have a lot of safety pins though!

LOL! I thought about it. But I think it is a bit dated. I don't even wear my mc jacket anymore because I feel like a tool trying to look cool. But if they had a 007 or spit reunion, I would!

Never went to L'Amours though I remember all the ads on the radio. When I ventured off Long Island, it was to the city clubs like CBGB's, Danceteria, Peppermint Lounge or the Ritz

I really only knew who I hung out with. Tommy, Mike and Anita, the twins, the sisters-amy and cindy from brooklyn, laura, lucky, susi, maria....most everyone else I knew by sight or nicknames. Everyone had a black mc jacket and combat boots but me. I had long hair and had a trench coat. Very lost boys.
