Came across this is my local paper

http://seattlepi.nwsource.com/pop/287266_durandy03.html
Although he lives with his girlfriend of nearly six years, people think he's gay. Not that he thinks there's anything wrong with that. But the idea of a hetero guy collecting pictures of other guys raises the question. (Apparently it's OK when it comes to shrines for sports heroes or "Star Trek" characters.) Former MTV VJ-turned-radio-talk-show-host Kennedy ribbed him about it incessantly over the air in the late '90s.
"(Apparently it's OK when it comes to shrines for sports heroes or "Star Trek" characters.)" Interesting, the author raises a very good point. One I never thought of. But I still think it's weird!![:p]

Aw, I love the guy. He's my kind of person. And notice how this guy has a good life separate from the whole fandom thing. He's not some pathetic geek sitting in a squalid basement somewhere growing fungus behind his ears while sat behind his computer, working on his fandom thang. He is such a breath of fresh air from the kind of half-cultured male I'm used to seeing around here, really. And he obviously has great musical taste. :)
