The same people who miss the rock music of the 80's and complain about the current prominence of lame Pop and insidious Rap that has taken its place, are quick to dismiss U2 as banal, mainstream, lost their edge, has-beens.
You can't have it both ways, schizoids!
Pay attention people- what you've got here is an honest to goodnes New Wave Band that still rocks, makes great music and tours like a mother.
Enjoy 'em while you still can!
Your support is important- the longer U2 is around the less room there is for another Britney Squeals or Jessica Simpleton clone to squeeze her way into your aural pathways.

Bono: "Taxes are for little people"
"Bono, the rock star and campaigner against Third World debt, is asking the Irish government to contribute more to Africa. At the same time, he's reducing tax payments that could help fund that aid."
