LOL. That cracked me up. I just snort-laughed really loud and scared the cat that was sleeping at my feet - which in turn made me laugh even more. That was funny. Oh well. It was a really moronic "had to be there thing". Regardless, it was funny to me, damn it.

god i despise 90s music.
i dont know if i could name 10 but heres what comes to me.

james-laid.

pulp-common people.

the pulsars-silicon teens/technology.

soul decision-oh its kind of crazy. laugh all you want i swear its wham every time i hear it.are wham new wave?

cranberries-dreams/zombie.

dandy warhols-bohemian like you.

fine china-healing the angry hearts.

fischerspooner-emerge.

freezepop-tracy gold.

heads-damage ive done.

laptop-end credits.

modest mouse-dramamiene.

new radical-u get what u give.

house of love- she shine on.

kitchens of distiction-drive that fast.

well a few more are coming to me but on second thought i dont know if these songs actually sound like new wave? but maybe just more like new wave than the other crap i heard.
plus alot of these were purposley going for an 80s sound.

I used to despise most 90's music during the 90's but now, I find it so much better than the crap we have today... with a few exceptions

Marcy Playground - Sex & Candy... Always thought it was an attempt at new wave... I agree that the 90s stuff is better than most hollow-soul music of today

I'll take any of today's new New Wave bands -- the Editors, Franz Ferdinand, VHS or Beta, the Pin-Up Girls (ahem), She Wants Revenge, etc -- over the '90s any day.

90s songs are considered classics today so after 10 years the songs of today should be classics by then.
