This was a TOUGH poll. My personal favorite is "The Bitterest Pill" but only slightly. There's too many great songs and I'm happy with "In The City." Now by contrast, the Style Council . . .

I don't think there really is a bad Jam song. That's Enterainment is my favorite along with Beat Surrender and Bitterest Pill. But in the City is also good. So any song really would be okay.

True, amny good ones were cut at once, someone with ADD... or some problem; I had a hard time not including every song, except that Batman Theme.

I remember when I first heard "In The City," and was like Wow! (Pow!), where did these guys come from... gotta get that record!

I enjoyed seeing them on The Gift tour... a great show, lots of energy, raw power pop gutar/bass/drums, and those horns were a so-so add on at the time.

Loads of good memories from that concert; rode my scooter to the gig--we had a huge rally there, like 500 or 600 scooters; my friend's band The Standards got to be one of the opening acts; getting way to druck to drive home; etc., etc. Good time had by all concert goers!
