the best news I have heard in ages regarding CD releases . This from b-movie's site
Some Bizarre plan to issue the legendary Some Bizarre Album featuring B-Movie's 'Moles' in May 2007. It'll be the first time it's been available on CD, officially at least. Also I'm working with Stevo at Some Bizarre at putting out a compilation reflecting the period B-Movie spent on the label from 1981 to 1983. Hopefully it'll include all the singles, b-sides, demo's of unreleased material etc. I probably don't have to tell you that this will be the best and most exciting of the posthomous releases ....

Umm, it's been officially released on CD. I bought it when it came out.

[/quote] A few people on the website said that but one of the band members stated that Stevo who runs the label never gave permission for the release and it is likely it was not done from the masters, so hopefully it will be a superior release

Stevo must be on crack because the previous CD was definitely from masters.

I know of a release by them years ago, and have seen it in various record shops. I've heard "Nowehere girl" from it, and from what I can tell, it sounds pretty damn close to being a "master" that I've heard. A DJ friend of mine from years back had like 4 copiers of it on Vinyl and cd, so it does exist.

Nonetheless, the release or "re release" is good news.

Reissue of Some Bizzare Album is ok, but what I really want to see on CD are 12" versions of Coil, Foetus and Test Dept.

Well to be honest out of the two releases I am looking more forward to the B-Movie release, I think that period was the definitive period for the band and although various versions have been released of Nowhere Girl etc via the Forever Running CD and Remembrance day CD it will be great to have all of their stuff from this period on CD. The 12" version of Nowhere Girl is still one of the highlights of the 80's for me and the SB version is still the best out of the bunch

Another B-Movie release? Can't they see the udders on the cash cow are bleeding?

I agree that there have been a few releases but I think this is the one that the fans have been waiting for with the definitive versions of their classic tracks , Although forever running [or the platinum collection] is good , the versions of Remembrance days and Nowhere girl are not a patch on the SB versions, There has been a dodgy bootleg out for a number of years "nightmares on Wax" that have these but it is straight off of vinyl and I could have done a better version off my 12"'s and CD recorder. Anyway in my mind both the SB album and the B-movie collection will be a welcomed release or re-release next year

to get these versions in really good quality (in comparision to the dodgy Nightmares in Wax semi-boot) would be indeed a pleasure, looking forward to this release for sure!
