first of all, i hate you. [:D]

we have now spent about 2 hours on this damn quiz, because this type of thing sucks me in. the woman and i, however, have managed to come up with 38 of them. many are albums released this year that were popular in england. "best of" lists on amazon.co.uk have been particularly helpful. many more are just well-known albums, there were several "oh,yeah, of course!" moments. and a couple, the woman just pulled out of her ass, such as Lily Allen, who is unknown to me.

we will be able to enter this contest if it kills us.

I just heard a Lily Allen song (first I'd heard of her) on WFUV (90.7 NY) two nights ago. I kinda liked it, but don't remember the name. Is she a "big in England" artist?

"Each shows detail from an album that has been released in the last years or is widely acknowledged as a classic"

classic, in other words most people have probably never heard of them.

No, the older albums are actually well-known classics. About half, though, are 2006 releases you've probably not heard because it is UK-based.
