Wow! That sure was nice of guyinsf, let me make sure I have that straight...

That New Wave Outpost's member Guyinsf is an a-hole.

Was that correct...maybe he should join a forum where someone gives a rats ass and stay away from this one.

All he did was point out a common mistake. It wasn't a personal attack or anything. I've always wondered why some people get so amazingly upset when incorrect grammar is pointed out.

Interesting point. I've often wondered why some people contribute nothing to a post but to point out such trivialities.

Maybe it's just me, but I find it rather petty. If you are aware of the person's intended message and you are possibly unaware whether the person merely had a momentary brain-fart and are otherwise not completely retarded, then why bother? Seems slightly rude is all. Just my opinion. I don't often loudly point out in public when someone in my company farts either. But, that's just me. I am more prone to wonder about the intentions of the corrector in such cases.

I believe seffe is a non-native English speaker anyway. English wasn't my first language either and I took a lot of crap for it by others under the "guise" of helpfulness. So, I am probably just overly sensitive about the issue. So, I apologize if I misconstrued guyinsf's intentions.

Anyway . . . yeah . . . bands reunited:

The Slits
Penetration
The Damned (several times)
The Banshees
Tears For Fears
Eurythmics
Culture Club

Loads of others. I just can't think of them right now.

Also a good point. My contribution:

The Chameleons UK (seeing them live in 2001 is defintely a life highlight)
Men At Work (Colin, Greg, and some random backing band that was actually really tight)
Mission of Burma
Thomas Dolby (not really "reunited," but returned to music after 15 years)
Joe Jackson + his original backing band

And on my wish list: Oingo Boingo, The Comsat Angels, and The Vapors.

Seffe, don't worry about it.
For gods sake, I can't stand when people do that kind of sh**. There is no need to correct grammer and spelling. We all knew what Seffe meant. [:(!]

The Buzzcocks many times. Pete Shelley and Steve Diggle from the original lineup. I saw their first reunion at the new Ritz in November 1979. This included Steve Garvey and John Maher from their core lineup too. They were great. Much better than some of the reunion results (like A Flock Of Seagulls on that Bands Reunited show last year).

I would have responded quicker but I was double checking my grammar.
