Two?? When I spoke to Ray he never mentioned a second one, it would certainly be news to him. In fact, they decided to split after leaving Stiff.

X-RAY SPEX!!! Although I hardly consider the second album with the same affection I do Germfree Adolescents. For me, there was really only one Spex LP to surface...and what a goody!

awesome !!!!! david soul released 2 albums on private stock records.
david soul "david soul" 1976
david soul "playin to an audience of one" 1977
both were huge hits in england & the usa,but he was bigger in england.
he also had 2 top 10 hits with, "dont give up on us" & "silver lady" and a few other minor hits that made the top 40.
you half to remember that he was a musician/singer/songwriter like john travolta before he was an actor.
i also have david soul's rookie baseball card when he played in the major leagues.....

john travolta (his 2 solo albums are awesome !!!!)

Hey! That was my answer!

David Soul was also pretty amazing. Do you know how many albums he did, by any chance?

Riverside (Though their second album is a direct to consumer deal, so I don't know if that counts...[?])

A couple people mentioned 20/20, who has actually put out five albums (had to look that up ... I knew they had more than two). Likewise, Wire Train had five.

I second the Vapors, and I add:

Au Pairs
This Heat
Swell Maps
Cactus World News (their second album recently made it out of record vault hell)

The Comateens actually released three albums, and after Oliver North died the remaining members recorded a fourth album as West & Byrd.

By the way... there is a limited rerelease of the Comateens first self-titled in the works.
